Pre-Employment Health Checks Automation (PREMPC) Project
Home > About MoH > MoH Projects > Pre-Employment Health Checks Automation (PREMPC) Project

The Government of Bahrain is currently in the implementation phase of the Labour Market Reform (LMR). During this phase, a team led by the Economic Development Board (EDB) is redesigning administrative policies and procedures for expatriates (expats) who work and/or live within the Kingdom of Bahrain. This reform includes a new IT system (LMR-IT, with the Expat Management System – EMS – as main module for expat administration) which will manage the workflow for these processes and provide a front-end interface to the users. The Ministry of Health (MoH) processes regarding expats are to be automated and MoH IT systems will have an interface to the EMS IT system in the area of pre-employment health check.

The automation of the medical checkup (Pre-employment health checks, PREMHC) currently undertaken by MoH at Al-Razi health centre for all expats who have to pass the test to work in Bahrain and the interfacing of such a solution with the LMR-IT system are the subject of this RFP.

The present manual procedures will be replaced by computerized processing. This RFP is dedicated to requesting a proposal for a computer system fits to our need and a project implementing these processes and bringing the requirements to life.
