Vision:

  • Regional center of excellence in health education, research and development, and quality of faculty and graduates.

  • Produce the highest quality graduates in health care services, who pursue life-long learning experiences, and who actively seek opportunities to contribute to their profession and to society as a whole.

  • Response to the health education needs of society, and to be pro-active in assessing and developing programs to address these needs.

Objectives:

The objectives of the College are:

  • Adopting the most contemporary health educational models and business practices.
  • Graduating well skilled health manpower in Nursing & Allied health.
  • Implementing the latest technology for administrative and educational services.
  • Empowering community health education & health development.
  • Developing plans to pursue strategic alliances with similar organizations
  • Implementing a management culture of cross-functional team building in the Ministry of Health and College
  • Monitoring academic, administrative, financial, and personnel criteria and allow for expansion, update and revision in these areas
  • Implementing revenue generation strategy.
  • Developing & Implementing Marketing Strategy.
  • Contributing to world body of knowledge through conducting research in Nursing & Allied Health.

College Functions

1. Nursing
  • Providing a diversity of nursing programs at basic and post-basic levels
  • WHO collaborating center
  • Offering a series of continuing education activities, such as seminars, workshops and short term courses
  • Conducting specialized refreshing courses
  • Offering series of nursing programs
2. Allied Health Division
  • Offering courses in Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Radiography Technology, Medical Equipment Maintenance, Pharmacy Technician, etc.
  • Offering series of education programs
3. Integrated Sciences
  • Providing fundamental and advanced courses to students enrolled in the various programs of the College in General Sciences, Mathematics, Life Sciences, and Social and Behavioral Sciences
4. English Department
  • Providing English language courses to all CHS enrolled students
  • Motivating and improving all students' English language competencies at different levels
  • Improving the learners' skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English
  • Endeavoring to lay a firm foundation for further studies in an English language medium, possibly abroad
  • Offering series of education programs
5. Admission and Student Affairs
  • Management of student applications, admissions, enrollment, registration and graduating.
  • Management of student affairs, academic life, counseling and wellbeing.
6. Educational Development Center
  • Functioning as a technical, professional and educational resource for the faculty, students, staff and Ministry of Health (MOH) personnel
  • Offering curriculum design, review, and evaluation
  • Offering instructional material design, development and implementation
  • Providing teacher development program
7. Library
  • Offering library services through books, periodicals and magazines borrowing and returning
  • Offering online search on the internet
  • Inter-library loans
  • Provide library induction course.
8. Administration and Support
  • Providing administration services, such as control maintenance, supervision of cleaning services, monitoring of staff information and managing printing materials.
9. Provide Continuous Educational Services
