The health of the population of Bahrain has improved rapidly over the last 40 years. As a result, life expectancy has increased from 51 years of age in the late 50's to over 72.9 in 1999. To ensure continued improvements, the Ministry of Health has adapted the best technology focusing on linking the individuals of Bahrain to all Health providers, Health care services, up-to-date health information, news, policies, rules and regulations.

To ensure the publishing and continuity of this Website, the Contents were compiled by a group of the Ministry personnel from various directorates in liaison with members of the Contents Committee.
