The ministry of health for the kingdom of Bahrain is seeking from years to encourage the youth on walking and that is through increasing the number of walkways in the kingdom and open health friendly malls, therefore the invention of devices like the Self-Balancing Scoter will destruct these efforts and the result will be generations suffering from obesity and indolence, and that is due to the reliance on such devices and the lack of physical activities.

In 2014, several such devices appeared in China, and by 2015, they became widely popular in the Arab World and mainly in the Gulf countries. The Self-Balancing Scoter is a type of portable, Rechargeable battery-Powered scoter. They typically consist of two wheels arranged side-by-side, with two small platforms between the wheels, on which the rider stands. The device is controlled by the rider's feet, standing on the built-in gyroscopic, sensored pads.

This device could be dangerous if used inside buildings or on the roads, and it requires the same safety precautions taken by bikers as using the safety helmet and knees protector. And many countries have prohibited using this device, considering the complaints filed on these devices and how they have been misused by some users and the accidents they cause.

We would like you to provide us with your opinions on this device whether it is dangerous or not.
