Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 82859: Contact tracing of a 37-year-old male citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 10 positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  The cases detected include the index’s mother, wife, aunt, two siblings, in-laws, and nephews.  Further contact tracing of the some cases revealed an additional 10 cases of secondary infections across 3 generations of the family.  This cluster is all family related and resulted in a total of 20 positive cases across 7 different households.
  2. Cluster 81787: A 31-year-old male expatriate tested positive after developing symptoms.  Through contact tracing, a total of 9 positive cases were detected, with 7 cases having direct contact with the index case and 2 cases having secondary infections.  The cases work in the same company and share accommodation.
  3. Cluster 80176: A 63-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing revealed 10 positive cases among one household. The cases detected are of the index case’s immediate family and include her daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren.
  4. Cluster 82826: Contact tracing of a 26-year-old female expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 10 positive cases across 10 different households.  The cases include the index case’s friends, co-workers, neighbor and a family member, all of whom had direct contact with the index.
  5. Cluster 82491: A 23-year-old male citizen tested positive after developing symptoms. Through contact tracing, 11 new positive cases across 4 different households were detected. The cases are family-related, including the index case’s sisters, aunt, uncle, cousins, his cousin’s wife and daughter, and the housekeeper; all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  Contact tracing of one of the cases, revealed an additional case of secondary infection.  This cluster resulted in a total of 12 positive cases.
