Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 81960: An 80-year-old female citizen tested positive through random community screening. Contact tracing revealed 3  positive cases from 3 different households.  The cases are the index case’s immediate family that include her daughters and nephew, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  Further contact tracing of one of the cases revealed 8 new positive cases of secondary infections.  The cluster resulted in a total of 11 positive cases.
  2. Cluster 83727: Contact tracing of a 7-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 9 positive cases from  a single household.  The cases detected are the index case’s family members and include her sister, uncle, her uncles’ wives and her cousins; all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
  3. Cluster 83652: A 55-year-old male citizen tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing revealed 9 positive cases from 4 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are  all within the index case’s direct family members across  three generations.
  4. Cluster 84036: A 20-year-old male expatriate tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing revealed 8 positive cases in the family who live in the same household.  The cases include the index case’s immediate family all of whom had direct contact.  Further contact tracing identified an additional work related case which was secondary infection. 
  5. Cluster 84961: Contact tracing of a 34-year-old female citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 5  positive cases from 2 different households. The cases are family-related, including the index case’s son, sisters, and cousin, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  Contact tracing of one of the cases, revealed two additional cases of secondary infection.  This cluster resulted in a total of 7 positive cases.
