Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 84960: A 66-year-old male citizen tested positive at a random community screening. Contact tracing revealed 7  positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  The cases detected include the index case’s children, domestic help and an expatriate employee from two households.
  2. Cluster 85279: Contact tracing of a 34-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 8  positive cases from 2 different households.  The cases detected are the index case’s family members all of whom had direct contact with the index case, and include her parents, cousin, sister-in-law, niece and nephews.  An additional case of secondary infection was identified through further contact tracing of one of the cases.  
  3. Cluster 84420: A 51-year-old male citizen tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing revealed 10  positive cases from 5 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are all the index case’s direct family members and include the mother, wife, daughter, sister, brother-in-law, nieces and their housekeepers. 
  4. Cluster 85703: A 27-year-old female citizen tested positive at a random community screening.  Contact tracing revealed 7  positive cases from 3 different households.  The cases are family related and include the index case’s husband, daughter and son, as well as the husband’s immediate family members, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  Further contact tracing of two of the cases revealed an additional 3  positive cases of secondary infection.  The cluster affected a total of 10 positive cases.  
  5. Cluster 85596: Contact tracing of a 30-year-old female citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 5  positive cases from 3 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases are family-related, including the index case’s father, sister, nieces and nephew.  Contact tracing of one of the nieces, revealed 4 additional cases of secondary infection; including her father, grandmother, aunt and cousin.  This cluster affected a total of 9 positive cases.
