Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 87723: A 52-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms. Contact tracing revealed 8 positive cases from 4 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are all family and include the index case’s husband, sister, children, grand-daughter, and daughter-in-law. 
  2. Cluster 87719: Contact tracing of a 51-year-old male expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed a total of 17 positive cases among coworkers living in 3 different accommodations. All who tested positive had direct contact with the index case.  
  3. Cluster 87347: A 37-year-old male expatriate tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing revealed 7 positive cases from 5 different households.  The cases detected include the immediate family and co-workers of the index case, all of whom had direct contact with the index. Further contact tracing of one the co-workers identified 2 additional cases of secondary infection and are family related. This cluster resulted in a total of 9 positive cases. 
  4. Cluster 87584: Contact tracing of a 60-year-old male citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 6 positive cases from 3 different households.  The cases are family-related and include the index case’s wife, grandson, granddaughters, daughter-in-law and a housekeeper, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. 
  5. Cluster 87016: A 39-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms.  Contact tracing identified her child as a positive case.  Contact tracing further identified another case in school with the child, which then revealed 4 more cases in his family.  This cluster had a total of 6 positive cases from 3 different households.
