Contact Tracing Highlights
  1. Cluster 131387: Contact tracing of a 51-year-old male expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed a total of 18 positive cases, 3 of which are primary close contacts and 15 are secondary infections.  The cases detected are co-workers who share accommodation across 4 different locations.
  2. Cluster 135556: A symptomatic 42-year-old male expatriate who tested positive, revealed 5 positive cases of primary close contacts and 17 cases of secondary infections, resulting in a total of 22 positive cases.  The cases detected work in the same company but live across 12 different accommodations. 
  3. Cluster 132674: Contact tracing of a 25-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 14 positive cases across 6 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case during a family gathering.  The cases detected include the index case’s mother, husband, aunts, uncle and relatives.  Further contact tracing of her husband identified his mother as a secondary positive case.  This cluster resulted in a total of 15 positive cases.
  4. Cluster 135256: A 48-year-old female expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 13 positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.  The cases detected work in the same company despite living across 6 separate accommodations.  Further contact tracing revealed 2 roommates of one of the co-workers as secondary positive cases.  This cluster resulted in a total of 15 positive cases.
  5. Cluster 136042: Contact tracing of a symptomatic 42-year-old female citizen revealed 20 family-related positive cases across 4 different households.  The cases detected among primary close contacts include the index case’s mother, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunt and relatives, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
  6. Cluster 131903: A 61-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 12 positive cases across 5 different households.  The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s husband, children, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and their domestic helpers.  Further contact tracing of one of the granddaughters identified her father as a secondary infection.  This cluster resulted in a total of 13 positive cases.
