Contact Tracing Highlights
- Cluster 241163: Contact tracing of a 33-year-old male expatriate who tested positive through random testing revealed 16 positive cases among co-workers living in 3 separate accommodations. All who tested positive had direct contact with the index case.
- Cluster 245123: A 58-year-old male expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 10 family-related positive cases across 5 different households. The cases detected had direct contact with the index case and include his children, sister, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. Further contact tracing of his daughter-in-law revealed her mother as a positive case of secondary infection. This cluster resulted in a total of 11 positive cases.
- Cluster 247370: Contact tracing of a 31-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 10 positive cases from 4 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s children, sisters, niece and other relatives, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
- Cluster 239079: Contact tracing of a 20-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 9 positive cases across 2 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s mother, siblings, niece and sister-in-law, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
- Cluster 243791: A symptomatic 22-year-old male citizen revealed 8 positive cases from 3 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are family-related and include the index case’s sister, nieces, nephews and sister-in-law.
- Cluster 236453: A 7-year-old female citizen who was confirmed positive revealed 7 family-related positive cases across 2 different households. The cases detected had direct contact with the index case and include her mother, brother, grandparents and aunts.
