Overview of E-Services

The Ministry of Health is keen to keep pace with the latest rapid developments in the fields of information and communications technology to provide various health services for the benefit of all members of the Bahraini community, including citizens and residents of the Kingdom.

The development of e-health services is carried out in cooperation with the Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) and in alignment with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 and its core principles of sustainability, competitiveness, and justice. This effort forms a vital pillar in achieving the desired development under the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Great King of the country (May God protect him). This primarily aims to improve the quality and efficiency of the healthcare system, as this advanced digital system is a key determinant of an individual's quality of life, their active participation in society, and their ability to access high-quality health services with ease.
