Contact Tracing Highlights
- Cluster 102730: A 42-year-old male expatriate tested positive through random community screening. Contact tracing revealed 4 positive cases, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected are co-workers and share the same accommodation. Further contact tracing of one of the flat mates revealed an additional 11 secondary infections. This cluster is work related and resulted in a total of 15 positive cases.
- Cluster 104677: Contact tracing of a 31-year-old female citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 9 positive cases from 2 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s husband, son, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, brother-in-law’s wife and their children, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
- Cluster 100963: A 45-year-old female citizen tested positive through random community screening. Contact tracing revealed 9 positive cases across 5 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s sisters, brother-in-law, nieces and nephew, all of whom had direct contact with the index case during a social gathering.
- Cluster 99634: Contact tracing of a 33-year-old female expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 9 positive cases from 9 different households, all of whom had direct contact with the index case. The cases detected include her employer’s son and father, their domestic helpers, and her friends.
- Cluster 101305: A 27-year-old male citizen tested positive after developing symptoms. Through contact tracing, his wife and two daughters were identified as positive cases. Further contact tracing of the daughters revealed 8 additional cases of secondary infection, including their grandfathers, uncle and cousins. This cluster is family related and resulted in a total of 10 positive cases.
