Contact Tracing Highlights
- Cluster 189792: Contact tracing of a 12-year-old male citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 11 positive cases of primary infections and 3 secondary infections, resulting in a total of 14 positive cases across 4 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s parents, siblings, grandmother, cousins, aunts, and their spouses. Of the 14 cases, 5 cases are under the age of 10.
- Cluster 202149: A 44-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed a total of 14 positive cases; 13 of which had direct contact with the index case, and one secondary infection. The cases are family related and include the index case’s siblings, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and a relative.
- Cluster 201913: Contact tracing of a symptomatic 17-year-old female citizen revealed 15 positive cases, 12 of which are primary infections and 3 secondary infections registered across 4 different households. The primary cases detected are family related and include the index case’s grandmother, aunts and cousins, 6 of which are under the age of 10. The secondary infections include an aunts’ husband and sisters-in-law.
- Cluster 192557: A 45-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 19 cases of primary infections and 3 secondary infections, totaling 22 positive cases registered across 8 different households. The cases detected are family related and include the index case’s mother, children, siblings, her siblings’ children and relatives.
- Cluster 200733: Contact tracing of a 32-year-old female citizen who tested positive after showing symptoms revealed 13 family related cases across 3 different households. The cases detected include the index case’s son, sister, nieces, nephews, relatives and their domestic helper, all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
