Contact Tracing Highlights
- Cluster 76836: A 37-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms. Through contact tracing, 12 positive cases across 4 different houses were detected. The cases are family-related, including the index case’s mother, brother, nephews, nieces, an in-law and a housekeeper – all of whom had direct contact with the index case.
- Cluster 75169: A 29-year-old female expatriate who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 12 positive cases -all of whom are Bahraini citizens- across 4 different households. All of the cases had direct contact with the index case except for one case who was a secondary infection.
- Cluster 75732: Contact tracing of a 71-year-old female citizen who tested positive through random community screening revealed 10 positive cases across 3 different houses. The cases detected include immediate and extended family members.
- Cluster 78427: Contact tracing of a 24-year-old female citizen who tested positive after developing symptoms revealed 5 positive cases. The cases detected include the index case’s husband, the husband’s sisters and children. Through contact tracing of one of the sisters, 4 new positive cases were detected. This cluster affected a total of 9 persons across 4 different households.
- Cluster 77628: A 57-year-old female citizen tested positive after developing symptoms. Through contact tracing, 5 positive cases were detected among the index case’s immediate family members. Further contact tracing of one of the family members revealed an additional 4 positive cases. This cluster impacted a total of 9 individuals across 2 different households.
- Cluster 76443: Contact tracing of an 86-year-old male citizen revealed 10 positive cases across 3 different households. The cases include immediate and extended family members, 8 of whom had direct contact with the index case, while 2 cases are of secondary infections.
