Northern Governor Ali bin Al-Sheikh Abdulhussein Al-Asfoor hailed the royal directives issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, lauding the financial and stimulus package to mitigate the fallout of the current situation.

The Governor praised the decisions undertaken by the Executive Committee, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. 

Chairing the meeting of the Security Committee, the governor lauded the instructions issued by the Ministry of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa in line with the precautionary measures to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). 

Health Promotion director Dr. Wafa Al-Sharbiti stressed the measures enforced by the Ministry of Health  to keep the situation under control and raise public awareness and citizens and residents. 

The representative of the General Directorate of Civil Defence underlined preventive guidelines during the operations of disinfection. He highlighted the role of the civil defence in training volunteers to take part in the operation efforts.
