Eligible individuals can receive booster doses across the Kingdom's health centres

The Ministry of Health (MOH) today announced that starting from 16 November 2021, eligible individuals holding a yellow shield in the “BeAware” application can head directly to health centres across the Kingdom to receive their COVID-19 booster dose, without the need to wait for an appointment message.

 

The MOH noted that individuals eligible for a COVID-19 booster shot can head to the health centres across the Kingdom anytime from 07:30 to 17:00 and must bring their yellow-coloured vaccination booklets with them.  

 

The MOH indicated that vaccinations available vary between health centres, and the orientation to the center to receive the vaccination is not linked to the area of residence.

 

The Sinopharm booster is available in the below health centres: 

• Shaikh Salman Health Centre

• The National Bank of Bahrain Health Centre in Arad

• Isa Town Health Centre

• Jidhafs Health Centre

• East Riffa Health Centre

• Jaw & Askar Clinic

• Muharraq Health Centre

• Ibn Sinna Health Centre

• Budaiya Coastal Clinic

• Zallaq Health Centre

• Hamad Town Health Centre

 

The Sputnik V booster shot is available at the: 

• Halat Bu Maher Health Centre

 

The Covishield- AstraZeneca booster shot is available at:

• Al-Hoora Health Centre

• Ahmed Ali Kanoo Health Centre

 

The Pfizer-BioNTech booster shot is available at the: 

• Bank of Bahrain & Kuwait Health Centre – HIDD

• Bilad Al-Qadeem Health Centre

• Yousif A. Rahman Engineer Health Centre

• Sitra Mall

• Sitra Health Centre

• Hamad Kanoo Health Centre

• Mohamed Jasim Kanoo Health Centre

The MOH reiterated the importance for eligible citizens and residents across the Kingdom to receive the booster shot by heading to the announced health centres, noting that the booster shot is an effective measure to protect against the virus.
