President of the Supreme Council of Health Attends Bahrain Medical Laboratory Symposium; Minister of Health Highlights the Role of Laboratories in Enhancing Healthcare Quality

His Excellency Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Health, attended the Bahrain Medical Laboratory Symposium, organized by the Ministry of Health in coordination with government hospitals, primary healthcare centers, the Royal Medical Services, and in collaboration with “Education Plus” company. The event was also attended by Her Excellency Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health.

On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa emphasized that the symposium represents a significant scientific platform that contributes to enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services by supporting investment in advanced laboratory technologies. He highlighted the pivotal role laboratories play in ensuring diagnostic accuracy and effective treatment, which positively impacts the quality and sustainability of healthcare in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

For her part, Her Excellency Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, in her opening speech, highlighted the essential role that medical laboratories play in supporting diagnostic and treatment systems, thereby strengthening the quality of healthcare. She also noted the Ministry’s commitment to organizing such scientific symposia, which serve as effective platforms for the exchange of knowledge and expertise, and for showcasing the latest research findings and technological innovations. This, she said, contributes to the advancement of laboratory practices and aligns with global developments in the field.

The symposium witnessed wide participation from professionals and experts in the field of medical laboratories. A number of local and international speakers presented scientific papers discussing the latest techniques and emerging methods in laboratory environments, as well as the results of research and technological innovations that contribute to improving laboratory practices and the quality of healthcare services.

At the conclusion of the opening ceremony, collaborators, strategic partners, sponsors, the organizing company “Education Plus,” and the symposium’s speakers were honored.
