Under the Slogan: “We Care for Your Health to Complete Your Pilgrimage” The Ministry of Health Organizes a Workshop for Medical and Administrative Staff for the 1446H/2025 Official Hajj Campaigns

Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues its steadfast efforts to serve its pilgrims to the Holy House of Allah. This is achieved through the ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of Health, the health sectors, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission, ensuring the provision of the highest standards of healthcare and medical services to pilgrims, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to their safety during the performance of the sacred rituals.
This statement was made during the opening of the workshop organized by the Ministry of Health for the medical, administrative, and technical staff participating in the official Hajj campaigns for the 1446H/2025 season. The workshop was held under the slogan “We Care for Your Health to Complete Your Pilgrimage,” with the attendance of several officials from the health sectors, the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission, and concerned parties participating in the campaigns.
Dr. Showaiter emphasized that the workshop falls within the framework of the Ministry’s annual preparations, aimed at unifying efforts and enhancing health readiness, starting from the pre-departure phase, through the performance of rituals in the Holy Land, and until the pilgrims’ safe return to the homeland. She commended the close follow-up by the Higher Committee for Hajj and Umrah, as well as the outstanding efforts exerted by the Hajj Mission in facilitating and streamlining services provided to pilgrims.
His Eminence Sheikh Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Qattan, Head of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission, praised the strong coordination between the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He valued the Ministry of Health’s efforts and the tangible contributions of the Medical Committee in serving pilgrims and providing a safe and healthy environment for them to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
Furthermore, Dr. Ibrahim Farouk Obaid, Head of the Coordinating Committee for the Hajj Medical Mission, expressed his pride in the remarkable success achieved during the previous Hajj season. He praised the continuous support extended by the Ministry of Health and its unwavering commitment to ensuring a healthy and safe environment for the pilgrims. Dr. Obaid also underscored the importance of promoting health education and medical awareness, especially in the area of vaccinations, which play a vital role in protecting pilgrims during their stay in the Holy Sites.
