Minister of Health Receives the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, received His Excellency Dr. Andreas Eliades, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

At the beginning of the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister welcomed the Ambassador, highlighting the friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus and the ongoing growth and development of these relations across various fields, particularly in the health sector.

The meeting included discussions on a number of topics of mutual interest and explored ways to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries, especially in areas related to the exchange of specialized expertise and training in genomics and hereditary blood disorders.

For his part, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus emphasized the importance of continuing to enhance bilateral cooperation within the framework of memoranda of understanding between the two countries, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
