Minister of Health Receives Chairman and Members of the Bahrain Association for Religious Tolerance and Coexistence “Ta’ayush”

Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, received Mr. Yousef Mohammed Bu Zaboon, Chairman of the Bahrain Association for Religious Tolerance and Coexistence “Ta’ayush”, along with members of the association’s board of directors. During the meeting, Mr. Bu Zaboon presented Her Excellency with a copy of the book “In the Hospitality of the King of Peace”, which documents the noble efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the esteemed King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in promoting the values of tolerance, dialogue, and coexistence among religions.

During the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister of Health emphasized that under the leadership of His Majesty the King, and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Kingdom of Bahrain has established itself as a leading model of peaceful coexistence and harmony. This is reflected through its commitment to values of mutual respect, the promotion of a culture of peace, and the strengthening of tolerance and dialogue, showcasing the Kingdom’s civilized and humanitarian image on the global stage.

Her Excellency also praised the efforts of the association in supporting the national endeavor to embed values of religious tolerance and coexistence. She commended the initiative to publish the book, which highlights Bahrain’s prominent status worldwide as a beacon of peace, coexistence, and the promotion of respect and interfaith tolerance.

The meeting also included discussions on a number of key topics of mutual interest, as well as a review of the association’s key programs and initiatives aimed at reinforcing peace and coexistence among religions and cultures.
