Minister of Health Receives the President of the Bahrain Society for Sickle Cell Disease Patients

Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to advancing the implementation of further health programs and enhancing the medical system through various quality initiatives. These efforts, she noted, contribute to the sustainability of improved healthcare services and reinforce the Kingdom of Bahrain’s standing at both the regional and international levels.

This came during her reception, in the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Ali Al-Nawakhedha, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Health, of Mr. Zakariya Ibrahim Al-Kazim, President of the Bahrain Society for Sickle Cell Disease Patients, along with members of the Society’s Board of Directors. The Minister highlighted the societal role undertaken by the Society as an active partner in supporting efforts aimed at sustainably strengthening the healthcare system, ensuring that it consistently meets the highest levels of efficiency and quality that fulfill aspirations.

For his part, Mr. Zakariya Ibrahim Al-Kazim, President of the Bahrain Society for Sickle Cell Disease Patients, expressed appreciation for the continuous support provided by the Ministry of Health and its efforts to sustain the development of healthcare services in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He praised the existing partnership and integration with various health sectors, reaffirming the Society’s commitment to further enhancing constructive cooperation in pursuit of the desired goals.
