On World Health Day… Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and Minister of Health Meet Health Program Graduates from Government Sectors for 2025–2026

His Excellency Team Doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, accompanied by Her Excellency Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayyid Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, met via video conference with graduates of health programs from national cadres across various government health sectors for the years 2025–2026, on the occasion of World Health Day, celebrated this year under the theme: “Together for Health… Support Science.”
His Excellency emphasized that investing in qualified national cadres represents a strategic pillar for the future of the health sector. He highlighted that the outputs of training and qualification programs form a fundamental support to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the health system, and praised the graduates’ scientific and professional achievements, stressing the importance of continuing to support research and innovation to strengthen competitiveness and improve the quality of health services.
Her Excellency the Minister of Health expressed pride in the national talents and their dedication, which enhance the readiness and efficiency of the health sector in addressing various challenges. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to initiatives that support continuous education and scientific research, contributing to the development and enhancement of health services according to best practices.
The meeting also featured presentations by the graduates showcasing their scientific and professional experiences and success stories achieved during their training, reflecting the high level of excellence attained by national cadres across health specialties. This demonstrates Bahrain’s ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering national talents and fostering an innovation-friendly environment, contributing to achieving sustainable development goals and strengthening the Kingdom’s position as an advanced regional and international healthcare hub.
