Medical Committee of the Bahrain Hajj Mission organizes a training workshop to enhance preparedness for handling emergencies during the Hajj season

Within the framework of ongoing preparations for the Hajj season, the Medical Committee of the Bahrain Hajj Mission organized a training workshop titled "Handling Emergency Cases," with the participation of committee members, including doctors and nursing staff.
The workshop aimed to raise the level of medical readiness and enhance the efficiency of the health teams participating in the mission by developing skills for quick and effective response to emergencies that may arise during the Hajj season, thereby contributing to ensuring comprehensive and safe healthcare for the pilgrims of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The workshop included a number of training themes and practical applications that focused on mechanisms for responding to critical cases and methods of rapid medical intervention in accordance with best practices and procedures adopted in emergency medicine, in addition to strengthening coordination and teamwork among the members of the medical teams.
The workshop also witnessed active engagement from the participants through the discussion of various hypothetical scenarios related to emergency health cases, which enhances the preparedness of medical personnel to handle various health challenges with high efficiency and professionalism during the performance of Hajj rituals.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Lubna Al-Jar and Dr. Eman Sharaf, who reviewed the medical standards followed in dealing with emergency cases, supporting the Ministry of Health's efforts in training the medical staff participating in the Hajj mission and elevating the quality of health services provided to the pilgrims of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
