Minister of Health Chairs the Third 2026 Meeting of the National Noncommunicable Diseases Taskforce

Her Excellency Dr. Jaleela bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, chaired the third meeting of the National Noncommunicable Diseases Taskforce for 2026.
During the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister of Health emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation among various health authorities and strengthening preventive and awareness programs, in support of national efforts to promote public health and enhance the level of healthcare and the quality of services provided to members of the community.
The meeting also reviewed updates on approved operational plans and preventive programs, as well as progress made in implementing initiatives related to the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases. It also discussed the report on the National Colorectal Cancer Screening Program and community awareness efforts highlighting the importance of screening and early detection.
