The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Health held its third regular meeting of 2026, chaired by Dr. Samia Bahram, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health and Chairperson of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed a number of initiatives and programmes aimed at supporting equal opportunities and enhancing the Committee’s role in this area. It also reviewed the Ministry of Health’s preparations to celebrate Bahraini Women’s Day, including initiatives and programmes highlighting the contributions of Bahraini women to the healthcare sector and their active role across various fields of healthcare.
