1- Appointments Section

The Health Appointments Section is the core service of the health center where it receives clients and patients who are visiting the health center and provide the services required. In addition to that, the section is responsible for managing, organizing and coordinating the work between all sections of the health center. The Health Appointments Section trains and develops the employees regularly to provide excellent and high-quality health services for citizens and residents. In doing so, we make an effort to address any limitations in this section or its mode of operation and always look forward for development.


Services Provided
  1. Respond to clients inquiries at the reception desk or by telephone.
  2. Verify the identity of clients by any official proofing document before providing the service.
  3. Ensure the financial classification of patients through the information system and e-government system and the Labor Market Regulatory Authority.
  4. Booking, organizing and scheduling appointments of various services and clinics at the health center through the reception desk.
  5. Booking and organizing appointments of patients referred to clinics and other departments, such as physiotherapy or radiology to Salmaniya medical complex or another health center.
  6. Updating Patient Information (Address and Phone) in the Electronic Health Record System (I-SEHA).
  7. Booking patient’s appointments on general clinic, general dental clinics and teleconsultation thru call center 80007000.
  8. Booking appointments for medical Fitness examination services for preschool, intermediate, secondary and university students.
  9. Booking appointments for medical fitness examination services for Pre-Employment.
  10. Stamping of sick leaves certificates with health center official seal.
  11. Stamping medical fitness examinations certificates after the approval of the physician.
  12. Register patients and link them to their chosen family doctor at the health centers applying Choose Your Doctor Program.
  13. Collecting the health center services fees in accordance with the law.
  14. Manage and organize the programed electronic doctors and nurses' clinics diaries in I-SEHA according to the instructions.
  15. Collect statistical data.
Important information for patients
  1. Please provide ID document at all times.
  2. Governmental employees (Non-Bahraini) must present the work ID card in addition to any official ID proofing document.
  3. Non-Bahraini wife or husaband of a Bahraini or children of Bahraini women must submit the required documents to issue the exemption card.

  4. For non-insured non-Bahraini patients and non-governmental employees, should pay 7 BD fees for consultation only.
  5. If you change the residence address, please attend the health center of your new address to update the data presenting the ID cards for all family members.
  6. To avoid waiting in line and save your valuable time, book your appointment in the general clinics through the call center free line 80007000 or online through the website https://www.moh.gov.bh/eServices/OnlineAppointments and SEHATI mobile App.
  7. When registering through the call center or online, you should show up in the health records department at the health center and present your identity card to confirm your attendance.
