Description | Ovarian cancer begins in the ovaries, which are small members of the female reproductive system responsible for the secretion of female hormones and the production of eggs that become embryos when vaccinated. |
Causes | The causes of ovarian cancer are often unknown. Ovarian cancer may develop in some women because of an inherited genetic mutation. However, scientists still have to find out why there is a mutation in some and some do not. Less than 5% of cases of ovarian cancer are genetically predisposed.
