Description

Breast cancer occurs when some cells in the breast begin to grow uncontrollably, leading to tumor formation. The breast cancer is the most common types of cancer in women and the most common types of cancer in women all over the world.

Causes

- risk factors include the following :

 

Hormone replacement for menopause treatment, and using the oral contraceptive pills
- Obesity
- not breastfeeding
- Lack of exercise
- Radiation therapy on the chest for an earlier cancer at an early age- Age
- Genetic factors .
- A family history of breast cancer
- Having a history of breast cancer puts women at greater risk .
- Early puberty before the age of 12 years or delayed menopause after the age of 55 years .
- Lack of childbearing or late childbearing over the age of 30

Symptoms

- A tumor in the breast or underarm area
- Change in breast size or shape
- Change in the color or appearance of the skin of the breast or nipple (Redness / thickness)
- Abnormal secretions from the nipple
- inversion of nipple
- Pain in the nipple or breast

Treatments

- Surgery
- chemotherapy
- Hormonal therapy

Prevention

- Having healthy food includes fruits, vegetables and whole grains
- Breastfeeding reduces the risk of breast cancer .
- Avoid obesity and maintaining an ideal weight
- Regular exercise at a rate of half a day
