The Kingdom of Bahrain joins countries around the world in celebrating World Prematurity Day, which falls on November 17 each year. The day aims to raise awareness about premature birth and preterm infants, highlight the importance of prenatal care to prevent preterm birth, maintain an ideal weight during pregnancy, and educate pregnant women on maintaining healthy blood sugar and blood pressure levels. It also seeks to draw attention to the burden that premature birth places on parents, families, and preterm infants.
